Product overview

Water-soluble NPK fertilizers supply nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in a single fully dissolving crystalline form for precision fertigation. Unlike granular compound NPK, these grades are milled and formulated so stock solutions remain clear at field-use concentrations, protecting drip emitters, venturi injectors and pivot nozzles from sediment buildup. Moisture stays below 0.5% and water solubility reaches 99% minimum, meeting the quality thresholds demanded by greenhouse A/B systems and open-field micro-sprinkler programmes.

Available ratios span the standard fertigation portfolio — balanced 20-20-20 and 19-19-19 for vegetative growth, phosphorus-heavy 10-30-20 for flowering transition, and potassium-forward 15-5-30 or 13-0-46 for fruit sizing and sugar accumulation. Buyers include protected-culture operators in Spain, Morocco and the Gulf, export berry and vegetable growers in Chile and Peru, and liquid-fertilizer blenders formulating ready-to-use concentrates for distributor networks across South Asia and East Africa.

Loading ports & logistics

Water-soluble NPK ships from Black Sea load ports (Novorossiysk, Constanta) and selected MENA terminals. Bagged parcels of 300–3,000 MT load into 20 ft and 40 ft containers; programmes above 1,000 MT can move on breakbulk or geared bulkers with palletized 25 kg bags. Loading rates 200–400 MT/day for container stuffing. CFR/CIF covers ocean freight to nominated discharge — common destinations include Valencia, Casablanca, Jeddah, Mumbai and Colombo. Lead time 10–20 days after contract signing and payment confirmation. Specify the required N-P-K ratio at enquiry stage so the correct grade is allocated from mill inventory.

Packaging & documentation

Standard export pack: 25 kg PE-lined PP woven bags, palletized and stretch-wrapped for container loading. One-tonne FIBC big bags available for inland distribution hubs and large greenhouse complexes. Each lot ships with mill certificate of analysis (N, P2O5, K2O, moisture, water solubility), commercial invoice, packing list and full bill of lading set. SGS or equivalent pre-shipment inspection on request. HS classification 3105.20 — mineral or chemical fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

FAQ

Which water-soluble NPK ratio suits each crop growth stage?

Use balanced grades such as 20-20-20 or 19-19-19 during vegetative establishment and transplant recovery. Shift to higher-phosphorus blends like 10-30-20 at flowering initiation, then potassium-forward ratios such as 15-5-30 or 13-0-46 during fruit sizing and ripening. Match the ratio to phenology rather than applying one formula all season.

How does water-soluble NPK differ from granular NPK of the same analysis?

Water-soluble grades are micronized and formulated for complete dissolution at fertigation concentrations, leaving no sediment in stock tanks or drip lines. Granular NPK of the same N-P-K label dissolves slowly and is intended for soil broadcast or bed incorporation. The soluble route carries a higher grade premium but is mandatory where nutrients enter through emitters.

Can chelated micronutrients be mixed with water-soluble NPK in one tank?

Yes, when micronutrients are in EDTA, DTPA or EDDHA chelated forms compatible with the irrigation water pH. Avoid combining concentrated calcium nitrate with phosphate-containing NPK in the same stock solution — calcium phosphate precipitation will foul filters. Use A/B tank systems or sequential injection when both calcium and phosphate are required in the same programme.
