Product overview
NPK 20-20-20 water soluble delivers equal proportions of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in a fully dissolving crystalline powder engineered for precision fertigation. At 60% total nutrient content, it ranks among the highest-analysis balanced soluble grades available for export, letting greenhouse operators and drip-irrigated orchards supply all three macronutrients through a single injection point without switching formulas during vegetative establishment.
The grade dissolves to a clear solution at field-use concentrations with 99% minimum water solubility and moisture held below 0.5%, protecting venturi injectors, pressure-compensating emitters and pivot nozzles from sediment fouling. Primary buyers include protected-culture tomato and pepper growers in Almería and Antalya, table-grape and citrus fertigation programmes in Egypt and Morocco, hydroponic lettuce and herb producers in the Gulf, and liquid-fertilizer blenders supplying distributor networks across South Asia and East Africa.

Loading ports & logistics
NPK 20-20-20 water soluble ships from Black Sea load ports (Novorossiysk, Constanta) and selected MENA terminals. Bagged parcels of 300–3,000 MT load into 20 ft and 40 ft containers; programmes above 1,000 MT can move on breakbulk or geared bulkers with palletized 25 kg bags. Loading rates 200–400 MT/day for container stuffing. CFR/CIF covers ocean freight to nominated discharge — common destinations include Valencia, Casablanca, Jeddah, Mumbai and Colombo. Lead time 10–20 days after contract signing and payment confirmation.
Packaging & documentation
Standard export pack: 25 kg PE-lined PP woven bags, palletized and stretch-wrapped for container loading. One-tonne FIBC big bags available for inland distribution hubs and large greenhouse complexes. Each lot ships with mill certificate of analysis (N, P2O5, K2O, moisture, water solubility), commercial invoice, packing list and full bill of lading set. SGS or equivalent pre-shipment inspection on request. HS classification 3105.20 — mineral or chemical fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
FAQ
Why is water-soluble NPK 20-20-20 preferred over granular 20-20-20 in drip systems?
Water-soluble 20-20-20 is micronized to dissolve fully at fertigation concentrations, producing clear stock solutions that pass through 120-mesh filters without sediment. Granular 20-20-20 of the same N-P-K label dissolves slowly and can clog emitters when injected directly. The soluble grade costs more per tonne but eliminates line flushing, filter replacement and uneven nutrient delivery in precision irrigation.
At what EC level should NPK 20-20-20 water soluble be applied in greenhouse A/B tanks?
Target a working solution EC of 1.5–2.5 mS/cm for most vegetable and berry crops during active vegetative growth. In A/B tank systems, keep the concentrated stock below 3 kg/L and inject at a dilution ratio of 1:100 to 1:200 depending on crop stage and water quality. Always test conductivity after mixing and adjust injection rates against your irrigation schedule rather than applying a fixed kg/ha rate.
What drives the indicative price of water-soluble NPK 20-20-20 versus granular grades?
The USD 574–700/MT band reflects additional micronization, crystallization and quality-control steps that granular compound NPK does not require. Feedstock costs for urea, phosphoric acid and potassium chloride still anchor the base, but soluble-grade premiums of USD 100–140/MT over granular 20-20-20 are typical. Seasonal demand from Mediterranean greenhouse clusters and Gulf protected-culture operators tightens availability in Q4–Q1.
