NPK 10-26-26 — Autumn PK Boost with Starter Nitrogen

When crops need phosphorus and potassium for root development, tuber bulking or winter hardening without stimulating late-season vegetative flush, 10-26-26 delivers 62% total nutrients with minimal nitrogen. Standard autumn dressing for sugar beet, potato late season and orchard pre-dormancy application in continental climates. From 1,000 MT.

Seasonal Application

Apply 10-26-26 at 250–400 kg/ha after sugar beet canopy closure to support root sugar accumulation. In orchards, post-harvest application replenishes P and K removed with the crop without triggering late flush susceptible to frost damage.

FAQ

Why use 10-26-26 instead of straight MOP and TSP?

The compound granule ensures uniform P and K distribution at each application point. Separate spreading of MOP and TSP creates uneven nutrient patches affecting crop uniformity in precision-quality programmes.

Is 10-26-26 suitable for spring application?

Primarily an autumn/winter product. For spring use, higher-nitrogen NPK grades (20-10-10 or 16-16-16) better match crop demand during active vegetative growth.

Can 10-26-26 be used on grapevines post-harvest?

Yes. Post-harvest 10-26-26 at 150–200 kg/ha replenishes P and K reserves in perennial wood without stimulating new shoot growth that would reduce winter hardiness.
