Overview

Buyers covering sulphur-deficient soils often need nitrogen and sulphate-S in the same application. Stacking a urea parcel with a second elemental sulphur nomination is two files, two COAs and two sets of shipping documents. Ammonium sulphate closes that gap as AMS fertilizer.

The grade is searched as ammonium sulphate 21%, AMS fertilizer, and — once, for US desks — ammonium sulfate 21-0-0-24S. The analysis is the same: 21% N min, 24% S min, moisture typically 1.0% max, free acidity held low. Commercial minimum is 1,000 MT.

Caprolactam or steel-grade origins exist in the market — name the origin class if your buyer specification requires it. HS code 3102.21.

Loading & logistics

Standard bulk parcels commonly range from a few thousand to mid-sized handymax lots. Minimum commercial lot is 1,000 MT; smaller trial cargoes can be arranged in containers with bags or FIBC.

FOB, CFR or CIF against the discharge you name. Lead time is typically 14–30 days from payment instrument confirmation to first laycan day. Use the China FOB series on the board as context only.
