Firm urea 46 for the tonnes you nominate

EUROCHEM TRADING quotes urea 46% N — the 46-0-0 nitrogen cargo — as a firm for your parcel. Name prilled or granular, the volume from 1,000 MT, the discharge port, and FOB, CFR or CIF. A mill certificate of analysis travels with the lot. Published assessments are not an offer.

Min 1,000 MT

Overview

Importers, national distributors and NPK compounders request urea 46 bulk when building seasonal nitrogen inventory for vessel parcels from 1,000 MT. Both prilled and granular compacted grades are quoted against 46% N min, biuret 1.0% max, moisture 0.5% max and 2–4 mm particles — the analysis buyers in India, Turkey, Egypt and West Africa expect on tenders and private contracts.

Buyers searching urea 46, prilled urea or granular urea are choosing a handling form, not a different nitrogen grade. Free ammonia is held at 160 ppm max. HS code 3102.10.

Typical buyers include national fertilizer distributors ahead of planting windows, compound NPK blenders feeding urea into pan granulators, and industrial consumers using technical-grade urea in resin applications. For foliar programmes that need biuret well below 1.0%, name the low-biuret limit in the ticket.

Forms

Prilled

Default in Black Sea and MENA bulk. Lower dust during pneumatic loading and the usual nomination where discharge terminals expect prills. Same 46-0-0 chemistry as granular.

Granular

Specified when crush strength after the port matters — a long rail or truck haul inland. Same nitrogen analysis; the difference is the particle, not the grade.

Loading & logistics

Contract MOQ is 1,000 MT — bagged 50 kg PP or 1,000 kg FIBC in containers, or coaster and geared bulkers from 1,000 MT where discharge draft limits parcel size. Typical deepwater urea moves in handysize to panamax parcels from 5,000 MT, with larger nominations on established Black Sea and MENA routes.

Urea holds require cleanliness inspection and hold ventilation in the charter party. Loading rates at modern nitrogen terminals commonly reach several thousand tonnes per day in dry-weather windows. CFR and CIF quotations add ocean freight and marine insurance against the discharge draft you name.

Typical lead time is 14–30 days from payment instrument confirmation to the first day of laycan. That window is operational — it does not start until the file is complete.

Packing: 50 kg PP, 1,000 kg FIBC, or bulk vessel. Name the format with the enquiry. Anti-caking treatment at the mill is available for humid monsoon corridors.

Docs

Each lot ships with a mill COA showing nitrogen, biuret and moisture. On request we arrange SGS or equivalent pre-shipment inspection at load port.

Standard document set: commercial invoice, packing list for bagged lots, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and phytosanitary certificate where the destination regime requires it.

File notes

Should I order prilled or granular?
Prilled is the default in Black Sea and MENA bulk where pneumatic handling dominates. Granular suits long inland haul after port. We quote both against the same 46% N specification — name the form in the ticket.
How is bulk urea protected against caking?
Lots dispatch at moisture 0.5% max with optional anti-caking at the mill. Hold ventilation is specified in the charter party; loading is coordinated in dry-weather windows where possible.
